Ozo's Sire & dam, Victorino's Lacy & Victorino's Ekahi Pono were both produced here at Victorino's Kennel.
Lacy is owned by our nephew Don Richards and Pono Is owned by our niece Janice Briggs .
Ozo was our pick of the litter for a contract breeding we agreed upon. We were impressed with how smart Ozo, was at 8 and 12 weeks of age. He had come, down, sit, and lay, commands down really good for a 12 week old pup. But Ozo, did not have to stay on the porch when it came to fetching, he could hold his own with the big dogs. All kinds of people and other dogs walking in and out of the Pet Co, Ozo would fetch with out losing his train of thought. Ozo,would return come and sit in front of me then would release the toy for me to send again.
He Mastered the show stand at 12 weeks better then half the dogs in the UKC show ring.

It dose not start with the Owner it starts with the one that bred the litter!
Everyone that owns a female seems to want to have a litter but later realizes it is hard to find homes and too many pit bulls end up in shelters across the USA. It is very sad but 100% true!
New owners love the cute puppy but some will find potty training and work schedules hard to manage.
To many will not take the time to insure a properly trained dog for the home. House braking can become messy at times.
Many pit bulls end up as yard dogs or worse yet in shelters. Never given the chance to show what they could have been with the right breeder to place them in the right owner's hands.

Before Ozo left our kennel to his new home with the Vogel's he had his Ears cropped by Our personal Vet Dr. Valentine.
In 1980 we designed a crop with Dr, Valentine I called it them the rose bud, but Dr .Valentine called it the Victorino crop.
It is one of the Best crops we have ever seen and since 1980 we have never used any other vet for our crops.
Dr. Valentine is fully retired and has been for some time.
We called the Vet hospital were Valentine worked for many years. They set me up with an appointment but we were unconformable with not knowing who would do it.
Dr. Valentine has helped us many times even in a court battle for our Name sake. Of course we won, hands down! Since Dr. Valentine is fully retired we had to make a special call. We asked Dr. Valentine who he personally trained in the office that could do the Victorino crop? He said "No one! That crop is for your dogs and only the people you sent to me personally got that crop. I never taught that to anyone. What day do thay have you an appointment? No one else will do your dogs, I'll be there to do it."
Dr. Valentine has given us many years of outstanding crops, The crop gets noticed and makes the dog look clean.
